Caring for your artwork

Each creation by Michaël Viger is unique, and deserves special attention to preserve its beauty over time. Here are some tips to cherish your work

1

Smooth handling

Handle your board with clean, dry hands. Formwork wood, although sturdy, appreciates gentle handling.

2

A stable environment

Avoid sudden changes in temperature and humidity. Your work will thrive in a stable environment, away from direct sources of heat or cold.

3

Fine cleaning

A simple regular dusting with a soft feather duster is enough. For a more thorough cleaning, use a slightly damp microfibre cloth, without chemicals.

4

The light

in moderation. Although protected by a quality varnish, your work prefers moderate exposure to direct sunlight to preserve the brilliance of its colors.

5

Secure hanging

Make sure your painting is securely fixed to the wall. Formwork wood has character, give it a support at its height!

6

Regular attention

Take the time to regularly observe your work. It's an opportunity to check its condition, but also to rediscover its details and reconnect with the emotion it brings you ;)

By taking care of your work, you are extending the artistic dialogue initiated by Michaël Viger.

Every look, every gesture of maintenance is a way of bringing art to life every day.
